| CAMPUS SUMMARY |
| Allan Hancock College, founded in 1920, is one of California's 108 community colleges. Located in the heart of an important agricultural valley braced by oak-dotted hills and mountains, Allan Hancock College serves northern Santa Barbara County and parts of San Luis Obispo and Ventura counties.
Approximately 12,000 students enrolled in credit classes at its campuses in Santa Maria, Lompoc, Solvang and Vandenberg Air Force Base this spring. The college offers more than 1,300 credit courses in 100 fields of study in nine academic departments.
Another 4,325 students enrolled in the college's non-credit and community services program.
The college puts great emphasis on the success of its students. Its vision statement:
