| CAMPUS SUMMARY |
| Located in the San Mateo hills, College of San Mateo (CSM) is situated on a 153-acre site that provides a stunning panoramic view of the north San Francisco Bay Area. CSM is actually situated squarely between San Francisco and San Jose -- two thriving centers of technology, commerce and culture -- and is approximately 30 minutes away from each. The East Bay and the city of Oakland are also easily accessible from campus by car.
For more than 75 years, CSM has offered a wide range of transfer and career preparation classes to its large and diverse student population. Further, guaranteed transfer admission agreements and superior job placement assistance provide students with bridges to success beyond CSM.
In addition to its campus-based classes, CSM offers a wide variety of Distance Learning courses -- these include online classes offered via the Internet and telecourses broadcast via KCSM-TV. Short courses also provide flexible scheduling options for busy students. |

| UNIQUE PROGRAMS |
| Among CSM's noted programs are aeronautics, business, computer science, electronics, engineering, horticulture, mathematics, multimedia, nursing and photography. CSM also offers a robust broadcast and electronic media program, through which students gain hands-on experience working at KCSM-FM and KCSM-TV, on-campus professional stations which broadcast across the Bay Area.
Support services include a child care center, career services center, transfer center, financial aid, and numerous skill centers and labs. Individual attention and strong student support are hallmarks of CSM's dedication to student success.
