CAMPUS SUMMARY
Fullerton College is the oldest community college in continuous operation in California, founded in 1913. It is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for the Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, recognized by the U.S. and California State Department of Education. An education at Fullerton College is intended to develop an awareness of our obligations in a global environment, an appreciation of aesthetic values and sound craftsmanship, and a broad competence that will enable all to function successfully in our social, economic, and natural environments. Fullerton College is located one block from charming Downtown Fullerton. For commuters, our beautifully landscaped 63-acre campus is easily accessible to the 57 and 91 Freeways. We are within close walking distance from the Metro rail station in Downtown Fullerton, and the buses regularly drop off and pick students up in the front of the college on Chapman Avenue. There are lots of nice places to sit outside and study. Our library was recently renovated to include a new 52 station computer lab.
