| Las Positas College is located on 147 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of the Livermore Valley, noted for its ranchers and wine-producing vineyards. Strategically situated near some of the most prominent hi tech centers in northern California, and only an hour from San Francisco, San Jose, and Silicon Valley. Las Positas is one of the fastest growing community colleges in California. Since accreditation in 1991, the College has experienced student enrollment and facilities expansion that parallels the rapid growth of the Tri-Valley communities of Livermore, Pleasanton, and Dublin. |
