| Founded in 1971, National University is the second-largest, private, non-profit institution of higher learning in California. National University is headquartered in La Jolla, California, with over 29 campuses throughout California and Nevada including:
San Diego, Mission Valley, Rancho Bernardo, Chula Vista, La Mesa, Carlsbad, San Bernardino, Ontario, Los Angeles, Sherman Oaks, Camarillo, City of Orange, Costa Mesa, Bakersfield, Redding, Fresno, San Jose, Stockton, Sacramento, and Henderson (Nevada). National University also has an admissions office in Hawaii.
