The mission of the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science is: To conduct medical education and research in the context of service to a defined population so as to educate persons to provide care with excellence and compassion to this and other underserved populations. The campus is located in the city of Los Angeles, close to schools, shopping centers, hospital, LA Airport, and easy access to freeways and public transportation.
