Applying for Admission
Applying to a California community college is simple. There are two easy ways to apply: online or paper. You can apply online to attend more than four fifths of the California Community Colleges through CCC Apply at 
www.CCCApply.org. Other colleges have their own online applications. If you aren't sure whether you can apply online to the community college you're considering, check out the Campus Facts section of this website or visit CCC Apply.
The second way to apply is with a paper application. Each community college may have its own paper application so you should contact the admissions office or check the college's website for the form. You can find the contact information for the college of your choice in the Campus Facts area of this site.
Although the California Community Colleges enroll students year-round, you should still apply as early as possible. If you have questions or if you would like to talk to someone about whether attending a community college is right for you, contact the college's counseling office to make an appointment.
Already have a CaliforniaColleges.edu account?
There are some great benefits for you if you already have a CaliforniaColleges.edu account through this site. You can transfer all of the relevant information you've already entered, such as schools you've attended, directly into the online application on the CCC Apply site.
To transfer your personal CaliforniaColleges.edu information, simply log on to CCC Apply with your CaliforniaColleges.edu username and password. Then click on the California Community College application from the list and click 'Start New Application.' You can also use CCC Apply to apply to more than one college. Plus, if you file your community college application online, you don't have to complete all of it at once. Simply save your work and return later. Just don't forget to complete and submit your application when you are finished!
