Most of the California Community Colleges welcome international student applications. As an international student you may be interested in starting a bachelor's degree or a vocational or certificate program. Since community colleges don't offer bachelor's degrees, you will complete your first two years at a community college and then transfer to a four-year college or university to complete your bachelor's degree. If you are pursuing a vocational or certificate program, generally you will be returning to your home country as soon as you complete your program.
The application process for international students is different from the process for students who are U.S. residents. Be sure to read all of the information in this section to understand the basics of applying as an international student.
