Los Angeles Mission College opened in 1975. It is one of the nine colleges making up the Los Angeles Community College District, one of the largest districts in the nation. The college serves nearly 7,000 students on a scenic twenty-five acre site located in northeast San Fernando Valley.
The college is easily accessible, located near a number of freeways and by public transportation. Programs and classes at Los Angeles Mission College meet the needs of students with various backgrounds, interests, and educational goals.
The college offers courses in general education, lower-division transfer programs, occupational, and developmental education and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. |
