Financial aid is money for college. It is provided by taxpayers in order to make sure that everyone who wants a college education has the financial ability to pay for college expenses. Most financial aid is awarded to students based on demonstrating need.

  EOPS

Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS) is designed to assist students who are handicapped by language, educationally unprepared, and economically disadvantages, but who have the desire and potential to succeed in college. The EOPS Program offers a variety of support services such as tutorial services, bilingual counseling, transfer assistance, UC. and CSU application fee waivers, peer counseling, and a book services program. EOPS is committed to helping students access the resources necessary to succeed in college. Read more about EOPS

  CalWORKs


Skyline College provides assistance to students who are currently receiving CalWORKs cash aid from the county (also called AFDC or TANF), or who have received it within the past two years.
