DSPS at CMC provides educational services for students with documented disabilities who intend to pursue coursework at the college. A variety of services are available which provide the opportunity for a disabled student to participate fully in college programs and activities. We are dedicated to promoting student success.
Who is Eligible?
Any CMC student with a professionally verified disabilities that interferes with the educational process are eligible for DSPS services.
Examples of disabilities that may represent educational limitations: blindness/visual impairments; deafness/hard of hearing; acquired brain injury; learning disabilities; physical disabilities; psychiatric disabilities; orthopedic and mobility restrictions; speech impairments.

Specific accommodations allow DSPS students to participate in the regular classroom. These services ensure access that levels the playing field, so all students regardless of their disability may pursue their college goals.
Students participating in DSPS adhere to the academic standards of any other college student.
